Tolga Urkun

Chief Compliance Officer

Tolga is the Chief Compliance Officer for Talbot Underwriting Ltd. holding SMF16 and acting as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO).

He is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Talbot’s compliance programme to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies to mitigate risks and foster an ethical culture.

Tolga has 30 years of experience within the industry and joined Talbot in 2024 from Lloyd’s, where he was an Account Manager tasked with creating and maintaining the financial and regulatory compliance framework.

Having initially started his career in claims at Eagle Star, he worked for Pro Global and Swiss Re prior to joining Lloyd’s in 2019.
