Head of Claims

Colin Fernandes is Head of Claims for Talbot Underwriting Ltd. with ownership and responsibility for the Claims function across all our Syndicates under management.

With more than 25 years of industry experience, Colin joined Talbot in 2010. Previously, he worked with the Zurich Insurance Company, where he began his career as an Assistant Underwriter and then moved to Claims working both in the UK and the US, before joining Zurich’s Major Loss Property Team.

Since joining Talbot, Colin held roles as Property Claims Manager and Head of Technical Claims prior to becoming Head of Claims.

Colin graduated from University with an International Business/Italian degree, having studied in both London and Italy.
